Built on GEMCO's proven non-contact magnetostrictive sensing technology, the 953I combines exceptional accuracy and reliability with the power of IO-Link. This point-to-point, bi-directional communication protocol enables sensors to do more than simply report position—it provides valuable diagnostic information, supports remote parameterization, and simplifies integration into modern automation systems.
The 953I communicates seamlessly with all compliant IO-Link Masters using Com3 communication speed and includes an IODD file for fast, straightforward setup. Its standard 3-wire communication allows installation with unshielded cables, reducing wiring complexity and lowering installation costs.
Designed for demanding industrial applications, the 953I features an IP68 protection rating for reliable operation in harsh environments and utilizes non-contact magnetostrictive technology, eliminating mechanical wear for extended service life and consistent performance. With available stroke lengths up to 180 inches, the sensor is well suited for a wide range of linear position measurement applications across manufacturing, automation, and process industries.
